THE PROCESS
1 SAY HELLO!!
Congratulations on your new baby! This is such a special time and you are going to cherish the new images that adorn your walls! I have everything you need for your newborn photos including wraps, props, and outfits. Prior to booking I can answer all of your questions and let you know how I can serve you. So, let's connect and make a plan for your newborn session.
2. CHOOSE YOUR STYLE
You have several options for your baby's session. Browse my portfolio to see which one draws your eye. Or maybe you like a combination! Classic Newborn - timeless and minimalistic in nature. Your baby will be posed with a prop such as a bucket or bed, on a solid color fabric for all those squishy poses, and wrapped in a variety of sets. Styled Newborn - the images from styled sessions include a uniquely designed set to match a special hobby, interest, or profession. Typically, these sets are only used for a few images and the rest of the session is styled like classic newborn poses. Props for this can be brought in by yourself. Newborn Family - I am happy to include mom, dad, and siblings in some of the images. After family posing, we will move on to baby only sets.
3. BOOK YOUR SESSION
A paid session fee and signed agreement are required to secure your session. Your session is not reserved until these are complete. Upon booking, I will add your due date to my calendar. I take a limited number of newborns each month. Early booking is highly recommended. I try to schedule newborn sessions within the first two weeks after birth. In some situations this is not possible and it is no problem to work around the needs of the baby. Newborn sessions take place on mornings at 10.00 AM. monday-saturday or if you would like a sunday bookings are from 11.00am and an £20 is added to your retainer at the time of booking
4. UNIQUE SESSION
I offer a variety of backdrops to match your taste and style. Upon booking, you will receive a session questionnaire. This will help me plan sets that are matched to you. Your baby will be positioned in many different adorable poses. Parents love getting a customized gallery, whether that be unique to their careers, hobbies, or house décor. Sessions take place at my commercial studio in downtown Powell, Ohio. I provide everything you need, but I am also happy to include your family heirlooms or special clothing. You can expect to be at the studio for 2-3 hours for your newborn's session. Make yourself at home in one of the seating areas and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. While you wait for the session to finish you can relax and look over the available products to purchase.
5. CHOOSE YOUR PRINTS
Within 2 week after your session you will get a message in your inbox for your proofing session . You will then select and choose your packages and product during your ordering session this is where you make your payment via bank transfer or via our card machine please allow two week for product collection appointment
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PACKAGE
I offer a range of packages to suit your budget and believe that you shouldn't have to compromise over your daily bills and memories all you have to do is sit down
look at my packages and once you have chosen contact me.
I take a £45 retainer to secure time and date and the remaining balance due on the day of the session giving you time to be able to look at your gallery and be able to purchase extra.
